The TAD GSM-200 is designed for off-air reception of public land and mobile telephony systems using GSM networks, intercepting calls, monitoring and recording the information exchange between the system’s Base Transceiver Station (BTS) and Mobile Station (MS). TAD GSM-200 is completely passive and, therefore, undetectable. No cooperation with the GSM network operator is needed and neither the GSM operator nor the mobile user can detect interception. Applications: TAD-GSM-200 can be used to verify and/or alert the presence of defined targets in a designated area, or of mobile telephones generally in a room, a building or other areas, such as security restricted zones, disaster scenes, in jails or during bomb alerts. TAD GSM-200 anonymously interrogates and extracts target IMSI and IMEI numbers and transmits them to a call monitoring center. Outgoing and incoming calls from/to an interrogated target’s handset are automatically intercepted, decoded and recorded.
