Overview
The TSR2300 is a NEW receiver system covering 20MHz – 6000MHz
Based on the Compact PCI Express (cPCIe) standard (PICMG EXP.0 R1.0)
Each unit is a blade in a chassis
Each receiver unit (RF FE & Digital unit)
Using “standard” [stand-alone] receivers to build a “multi-channel” without the need for receiver modifications by:
Chaining LO signals in a Daisy chain configuration.
Distributing ADC clock & 1PPS signal for time and sampling synchronization.
Using an additional Time & Sync module.
Using Daisy chain data transfer between modules.
Rotating the DF processing master for pipeline operation. Pipeline throughput is 160μsec.
Flexible “multi-channel” configuration can use 2 – 8 modules
Size is:
Standard Height – 6U (233mm)
Standard Width – 8HP (40.64mm-double slot)
Depth – 160mm (Design goal)
