The Challenge
Protecting aircraft against enemy missile attacks has become a top
priority in the era of lethal terror attacks.
To date, such protection solutions have been based primarily on
airborne systems, and thus required installation on each aircraft,
making the cost prohibitive and virtually impractical.
The Solution
G-Force is based on Elisra’s unique PAWS-MWS technology. PAWS is Elisra’s family of operationally deployed staring IR Missile
Approach Warning Systems.
G-Force is thus based on thermal imaging, enabling highly accurate positioning of the threat, so that effective anti-missile action can be taken.
The number of G-Force sensors required is contingent on the size of the area to be protected, making it also ideal, as noted, for the anti-missile protection of other sensitive installations.
