Overview
The Shipborne Receiving Station (SRST) represents the most advanced technology for gathering and processing imagery intelligence (IMINT) in real time. It is already operational in several of the world's most advanced navies. The system significantly enhances commander capabilities to see beyond the horizon.
The SRST receives telemetry and video images from airborne Aerial Vehicles (AVs) including UAVs, fixed and rotary wing aircraft, etc. and displays them on a B/W video display monitor. Frozen images can
subsequently be processed (off-line) and displayed ona high-resolution color graphics monitor (OGD). The OGD displays digital maps correlated to real-timevideo images, which can be used for operations, mission management and orientation in the battlefield.
