SAPIR (Situational Awareness Panoramic IR), is an optional built-in add-on for PAWS which provides the crew an option to benefit from panoramic day and night situational awareness functionalities.
SAPIR operates in conjunction with threat-warning functionalities, by exploiting video imagery provided by  PAWS staring IR sensors externally installed on platform skin, in order to provide 360º panoramic view coverage
