The flight-line, man-portable Realistic Electromagnetic Arena
Simulator (REAS) RSS-4000 offers a host of first-time features and
advantages. The compact, lightweight design of the simulator is
intended for single operator use, allowing one person to perform a
complete EW (Electronic Warfare) system check of an entire airborne
or shipborne system – from antenna through to cockpit display.
REAS RSS 4000 is a proven performance system. Designed to be
exceptionally user-friendly, it is easy to operate the system and
program threat scenarios. Like all simulators of the REAS and RSS
families, it is based on state-of-the-art digital HW using PCI
technology. The REAS Windows 2000 based software controls all
simulator functions and scenarios.
REAS RSS 4000’s software, database and interface are compatible
with the entire REAS-REGEV family of lab simulators.
REAS RSS 4000 was co-developed by Elisra in cooperation with
MicroKim Ltd. (a subsidiary of MICEL Inc. USA). Its features and
functionality draw on the expertise and experience of both companies.
